Jon L. Stein has joined Parker Global Strategies (PGS) as managing director of strategic initiatives, a newly created position responsible for product development and marketing.
He will establish an office for PGS in Chicago and will also serve as a member of the firm’s Investment and Management Committees. Stein reports to Michael R. Parker, president, PGS.

Stein brings 21 years of experience in the financial sector to PGS. Prior to joining the firm, he was the CIO and an equity owner with AlphaMetrix Investment Advisors, a Chicago-based alternative investments firm and platform operator.
Before AlphaMetrix, Stein was CSO and also served as the chairman of the Investment and Allocation Committee for Efficient Capital Management, a Chicago-based fund-of-funds.
Stein received his Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law and his Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin.
