HSBC Actuaries and Consultants (HACL) continues the wave of senior appointments to strengthen its management team. John Longhurst is named as a Senior Consultant in the Trustee Proposition part of its business.
John joins HSBC Actuaries and Consultants from Gissings where, for the past two years he worked as an Account Director and Client Relationship Manager responsible for advising trustees and companies on all legislative, technical and strategic aspects of their pensions strategies. Prior to joining Gissings, he worked for Sedgwicks and, subsequently, for Mercer for 19 years as a Managing Consultant. John is APMI and FPC qualified and has over 27 years experience in the pensions industry.
Among significant previously announced hires are Steven Robinson as Head of Trustee Proposition, Alex Weiland and John Franks joining the Investment Consultancy Practice as Senior Investment Consultant and Investment Consultant respectively, and Paul Armitage as Head of HACL’s Defined Contribution activities.
