JP Morgan Investor Services (JPMIS) has appointed John Galante as Chief Technology Officer. He will be responsible for the strategic and day-to-day leadership of technology in JP Morgan Investor Services on a worldwide basis.

“I am pleased to announce that John Galante has decided to join our team,” says Tom Swayne, JPMIS Business Executive. “I am confident his experience and leadership will be a great addition to our organization.”

Galante joins from Citigroup, where he established and managed the systems and technology strategy for Citibank’s custody, clearing and issuer services business as well as Smith Barney’s securities operations division. He has also worked for Merrill Lynch and Salomon Brothers.
