Heinrich von Pierer has informed Deutsche Bank AG that he is no longer available for re-election on to the company’s supervisory board to be elected at the Annual General Meeting of Deutsche Bank AG on 29 May 2008.

“We have every reason to thank Prof. Dr. Heinrich von Pierer for the exceptional commitment with which he has always supported and served the bank,” says Clemens Brsig, chairman of the supervisory board.
