Joachim Treppner is to join the management team of the restructured J.P. Morgan Fonds Service GmbH (Master KAG) with effect from yesterday.
Treppner will report to Martina Reichl, CEO of J. P. Morgan Fonds Services GmbH, which is part of JPMorgan’s Investor Services division. As Operations Manager, Treppner will have responsibility for accounting, reporting, technical infrastructure and internal audit.
Treppner (42) had previously been managing director of SEB Invest GmbH and, most recently, a member of the division management team at SEB Asset Management in Stockholm where he was responsible for operations. “With more than 20 years of experience in the banking sector, Joachim Treppner will bring his expertise to bear in driving forward the expansion of Master KAG,” says Martina Reichl, CEO of J. P. Morgan Fonds Services GmbH. “We are very pleased to have him on our team.”
JPMorgan says its Master KAG offers a number of benefits for institutional investors: it interfaces with the accounting system, provides customers with information updates and coordinates asset managers, an area where companies are increasingly relying on external contractors. “Institutional customers benefit from the product-specific expertise of the various investment advisers and from increased transparency and uniform reporting across all asset management mandates,” says Morgan.
