Jersey Finance embarks on its fifth formal visit to the Gulf region later this week to showcase the Island’s Financial Services Industry to finance and legal professionals.

The itinerary this year includes Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Bahrain, Qatar and for the first time Kuwait, where Jersey Finance is a co-sponsor of at an Islamic investment conference.

Pierre Horsfall, CBE, Chairman of Jersey Finance, will lead the Delegation in the place of Senator Philip Ozouf, who is unable to travel due to a recent skiing accident.

“We will use the opportunity to provide updates on regulatory and legislative developments to the Island’s Finance Industry including a number of enhancements during the last 12 months which have made the Island an even more attractive jurisdiction for Gulf based professionals writing international business,” says Horsfall.

The delegation will convene in Abu Dhabi (Tuesday, 6th March) and Dubai (Wednesday, 7th and Thursday, 8th March). The delegation will then move to Bahrain (Sunday, 11th and Monday, 12th March) and finally Qatar (Tuesday 13th March).
