Jean-Christophe Huertas has been appointed brand and communications director of Newedge.
Huertas will be responsible for defining and implementing the communication and brand strategy of Newedge.
He will report to Patrice Blanc, CEO of Newedge and will be assisted in his role by a worldwide team of professionals based in the US, Europe and in the Asia-Pacific region.
Huertas, 42 years old, graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques. He holds a BA in Law and a post-graduate diploma in Defence & International Relations. He started his career in 1991 at Aerospatiale, Missiles Division, as head of the press office.
In 1996 he was appointed corporate press relations manager for Alcatel. Three years later he joined Rhodia, a chemical company, where he was successively group press relations director and senior vice president communications as well as an executive committee member.
In 2006, he joined Nestl as executive vice president, communications and corporate affairs of Nestl France and was an executive management board member.
