JASDEC held industry-wide tests over the weekend just passed of its DVP settlement process for non-exchange equity transactions. The tests, which involved the major banks and broker-dealers, were completed successfully. DVP settlement for non-exchange transactions is scheduled to start on 17 May 2004.
