Japanese regulator the Financial Services Agency has issued a licence to operate to the JASDEC DVP Clearing Corporation (JDCC), the subsidiary of Japan Securities Depository Center, Inc., which will perform the central counterparty function for non-exchange traded transactions JDCC is scheduled to start operations on 17 May. Industry-wide tests are currently being performed on weekends.
