Standard & Poor’s has appointed James Price as Director of Market Development for its European data and information services business. Based in London, he will report to Krishna Biltoo, Managing Director of European Data and Information.
The firm says Price’s main focus will be to strengthen the recognition of Standard & Poor’s as a provider of financial information and analytical tools as well as increase the firm’s reach within the credit markets. He will have a team of five based in London.
Prior to joining Standard & Poor’s, Price worked at Thomson Financial in Asia for three years in business development and product management, launching products across the region. Prior to working at Thomson, he was with Coleman Bennett International for five years as a market dataconsultant.
