Deutsche Bank appoints James Freeman as Head of Banking Research.
Freeman replaces Ross Brown, who will be taking a one year sabbatical to travel overseas with his family, and will report to Tim King, who returns from sabbatical to resume his role as Head of Company Research for Australia and New Zealand.
With more than ten years experience, Freeman joins existing research analysts Victor German and Prue Rydstrand in Deutsche Bank’s highly regarded banking research team.
“Ross is one of Australia’s top-rated banking analysts and James’s appointment will ensure Deutsche Bank maintains its strong banking research ratings,” says Tim King, head of company research. “James has excellent credentials and we are confident our clients will benefit from his insights. We look forward to welcoming him to the team.”
Freeman joins Deutsche Bank from Goldman Sachs JBWere, where he was Senior Banking Analyst with primary coverage of all the major Australian listed banks.
