Jackson Fund Services (JFS), a division of Jackson National Asset Management, LLC (JNAM), an asset manager and third-party fund administrator, has extended its use of SunGard’s Asset Arena Investment Accounting application by migrating to SunGard’s Asset Arena Enterprise platform.
Asset Arena Enterprise platform is a modular, real-time accounting system for global custodians, mutual fund administrators and hedge fund administrators. It covers a wide range of assets, countries and territories and offers a Web front-end for both investment operations and reporting. JFS selected SunGard’s Asset Arena Enterprise platform to support its investment accounting, reporting and exception management operations. Delivery through Enterprise will help JFS reduce manual processes and increase operational efficiency.
“JFS’ commitment to using leading edge technology has helped facilitate our growth,” says Mark Nerud, president of JNAM and JFS. “With the migration to SunGard’s Asset Arena Enterprise, we are able to provide our clients with customized reporting solutions through a secure Internet access portal and enhance our ability to grow our business in an efficient manner.”
“JFS has long been a valued customer of SunGard,” says Doug Morgan, president of SunGard’s institutional asset management business. “Their decision to continue using Asset Arena for investment accounting further demonstrates SunGard’s ability to deliver scalable, flexible solutions for asset managers and third party administrators. We are pleased that our relationship with JFS continues to grow.”
