J.P. Morgan Promotes Ferguson as Head of Global AIS

J.P. Morgan has promoted James Ferguson as head of global Alternative Investment Services. He takes over from Stephanie Miller, who was promoted to the role of head of Global Fund Services within J.P. Morgan Investor Services.

J.P. Morgan has promoted James Ferguson as head of global Alternative Investment Services.

He takes over from Stephanie Miller, who was promoted to the role of head of Global Fund Services within J.P. Morgan Investor Services.

In this role, Ferguson will define strategic direction and product offerings, market coverage, investment prioritization, overall business and P&L decisions for this segment. His initial focus will be on client facing technology build-out and implementation, working with global partners to improve profitability, and enhance client interaction.

Ferguson has been with J.P. Morgan for over 14 years holding a number of roles in London, Luxembourg and New York. For the past year and a half, he has been a member of the Global Fund Services Management Team leading J.P. Morgan’s Business Control efforts globally.

AIS provides alternative investment managers with middle office, administration, fund accounting and custody services to hedge fund and private equity portfolios.
