ITG announced Monday that its European business brought in record revenues of GBR12.4 million during the first half of 2006, a 17% rise over the GBR 10.7 million recorded during the same period in 2005.
The company’s revenues also mark a 20% increase over the GBR10.4 million reported during the second half of 2005.
“I am very pleased to be able to report that the positive momentum we reported at the end of last year has continued into the start of 2006,” says Alasdair Haynes, chief executive officer of ITG in Europe. “We have a number of new initiatives in the pipeline for later this year and are confident that the range of products and services we offer to help clients achieve best execution is going to become even more important to the industry as compliance with MiFID approaches.”
