The Bunker is not your typical IT security business.
The difference offered by The Bunker, short for The Bunker Secure Hosting Limited, comes in its location: a series of three ex-MOD nuclear bomb shelters with a combined 41,500 square feet of storage, 30 meters underground.
According to The Bunker, its facility and staff offer clients high-security IT infrastructure building, managing and hosting capabilities for financial institutions, telecom companies and Web-centric firms.
But The Bunker’s executives say they hope to expand those offerings.
While announcing a recent GBP1 million investment from Foresight Venture Partners, The Bunker said Friday the investment opens up “the financial muscle” to grow and marks the completion of the company’s third round of financing.
