The International Securities Lending Association (ISLA) has appointed four new board members. Casey Whymark of UBS, David Raccat of BNP Paribas, Roelof van den Struik of PGGM, and Arne Theia of Unicredit were appointed following a recent election.
Kevin McNulty, CEO, said that “as the ISLA membership base continues to grow and diversify it is important that the composition of the ISLA Board remains appropriately representative. We are very pleased to have four new directors who are all based outside of the UK, represent equity and fixed income financing markets, and for the first time include a direct representative of the beneficial owner community.”
The board, which is chaired by Andy Krangel of Citi, meets several times a year and oversees the work of the association.
