The International Private Equity Services Group (IPES) has established a presence with the opening of a new office in Jersey under the name of IPES (Jersey) Limited.
The IPES Group was founded ten years ago in Guernsey and provides specialist fund administration services to over 290 funds in the private equity sector. IPES employs over 100 people in Guernsey and London and is currently ranked one of the largest fund administrators in Guernsey by Lipper Fitzrovia.
The Jersey team is headed by Andrew Mason, managing director. Mason started his career with Coutts and has over 22 years experience in the Jersey finance sector, specialising in private equity and mezzanine fund administration. He recently moved from Kleinwort Benson and sits on the committee of the Jersey Funds Association.
He is joined by Anna Carrington, director. Carrington has over 15 years of financial services administration experience, gained globally at a senior level. She is a chartered secretary.

IPES also received the ‘Fund Administrator of the Year’ award at the inaugural ‘Awards for Excellence in Private Equity Advisory Services, Europe 2006’. The event was distinguished as the only awards ceremony in Europe exclusively dedicated to celebrating the successes of firms providing private equity advisory services.
