BISYS announced today that Kansas-based INTRUST Financial Corp. has expanded and extended its outsourcing relationship with the company. In particular, INTRUST Bank has selected BISYS’s Retirement Services to support its new defined contribution product offering.

“BISYS’ outstanding reputation within the retirement industry complemented by its value-added approach to outsourcing, its consistent levels of support, and our day-to-day experience with its professionals made the selection of BISYS as our servicing partner in this new market an extremely easy decision,” says Troy Jordan, senior vice president, INTRUST Bank.

The board of the American Independence Funds Trust also renewed its outsourcing agreement, enlisting BISYS’ Fund Services to continue supporting the American Independence and NestEgg Fund families with a comprehensive suite of services, including fund administration, accounting, distribution, transfer agency, and legal support. The American Independence Funds Trust has two series of mutual funds, the American Independence Funds and the NestEgg Funds. INTRUST Bank serves as custodian and shareholder servicer for the funds. INTRUST Financial Services, Inc. serves as investment advisor to the funds.

“During the past three years, BISYS’s comprehensive package of fund services has enabled us to concentrate on the investment and service needs of our clients, and our business strategy,” says Tom Gangel, president of INTRUST Financial Services. “BISYS also goes beyond the traditional definition of fund servicing by providing other invaluable functions, including distribution and legal support.”

Bill Tomko, president of BISYS’ Investment Services group, adds: “We are proud of our successful and growing relationship with INTRUST, and rewarded by the additional business and customer care functions they have entrusted to BISYS. The fundamental strategy to support each individual client’s specific business requirements with the broadest array of investment services available from any single provider continues to benefit our diverse clients and to competitively differentiate BISYS.”

“INTRUST recognizes that BISYS’ enterprise solutions support the growth of their established product offerings, while materially enhancing the near- and long-term success of their new product and service offerings. This client realized the benefits of entering a strategic new market backed by BISYS’ industry-leading outsourcing solutions and unmatched expertise,” concludes George Evans, executive vice president of business development for BISYS’ Investment Services group.

INTRUST offers investors access to investment advisers through the American Independence Fund family, which is comprised of six multi-class funds; and five NestEgg Funds, which provide broad diversification and asset allocation opportunities.
