SunGard says Nextra Investment Management has migrated its investment management operations to its Decalog Version 5.0 application. The firm is using the new Java-based and FIX-compliant Decalog trading “blotter” that allows users to automate trade instructions and check the status of orders. It will allow Nextra to extend its use of FIX, to include derivatives and basket trading capabilities, and foreign exchange order management and compliance.
Nextra Investment Management is the asset management company of the Intesa Group in Italy. It has Euros 84 billion of assets under management and 1.6 million clients.
