SOX Television, an Internet Television Network that covers The Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act, has launched its beta site, www.soxtelevision.com, featuring video-on-demand interviews with thought leaders from PricewaterhouseCoopers, The Dow Chemical Company, Computer Associates and other best-in-class companies involved in complying with the Act. Beta sponsors of the network include ACL Services, Axentis, Appssurance, Genpact and The Institute for Financial Excellence.

According to a research estimate, companies spent nearly $6 billion on meeting Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements in 2005. The audience for SOX Television includes chief financial officers, chief compliance officers, chief technology officers, internal auditors and other professionals at these companies charged with navigating an increasingly complex maze of governance, risk and compliance responsibilities around the globe.
