Intermost Corporation formally initiated its China Equity Exchange Platform, which provides Internet-based equity trading services to the company.
The platform will interface with Hainan Special Economic Zone Property Rights Exchange Center and the Bank of China-Hainan Branch.
The Chinese government showed its support of equity exchange programs in February with the release of The State Programs for the Medium and Long Term Development of Science and Technology, which states, “China will build up a multi-level capital market, supporting independent innovation. Regions with favorable conditions are encouraged to provide financial support to local equity exchange markets.”
The program established the role of equity exchange and brought it to the state level.
