Interactive Data Corporation, a provider of financial market data, analytics and related solutions, has expanded the range of OTC data available via PrimeTerminalTM Professional, its customisable financial desktop. The selected information, drawn from global market makers, is regularly updated during the trading day and can be accessed via pre-defined market views.
Interactive Datas clients now have access via PrimeTerminal to the World Currency Unit (WocuTM), a standardised basket currency derivative quotation based on the real-time exchange rates of the currency pairs of the worlds top 20 nations as determined by IMF measures of GDP. As part of an agreement with WDX Organisation Ltd., who created the Wocu, Interactive Data is calculating the exchange rates between the Wocu and leading currencies, and making this information available through a range of its services.
In addition, a number of prestigious banks and brokerage firms have become data contributors to PrimeTerminal, providing global central bank rates from the Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank. Additional Forex (spot and forward transactions), money markets (interest and forward rate agreements, interest rate swaps) and bonds data is now available, while existing forward rate agreements and interest rate swaps data has been enhanced and is now available for approximately 20 international currencies.
One of our top priorities is to continuously expand the depth and breadth of our data, said Carsten Dirks, global managing director of Wealth Management Products at Interactive Data.
