Interactive Data has expanded its 7ticks connectivity network to provide a new point-of-presence for the London Stock Exchange (LSE) within the LSEs co-location data center.
Interactive Datas 7ticks network provides direct connectivity to more than 50 global markets, co-location and proximity hosting to global direct exchange data, consolidated data, as well as reference and corporate actions data. Direct connectivity is available to global futures and options, equities and FX exchanges and trading venues for multi-asset class and ultra-low latency trading. The new POP offers a local access point to LSE, Milan, Oslo and Turquoise and is designed to provide Interactive Data’s client base with improved latency performance regardless of data volume or market conditions.
The connectivity between the 7ticks core network and the new POP allows the entire consolidated data feed to be made available locally, via leased line or co-location of equipment, with additional capacity available for future growth in data volumes.
London is a major centre for electronic trading and as such is continually evolving, which creates a high level of demand for our services as clients expect better connectivity and faster execution time, said Emmanuel Doe, president, Trading Solutions Group for Interactive Data. Our enhanced presence through this new POP complements our existing infrastructure in London and is designed to enable clients to obtain ultra-low latency access, global support, and reduced total cost of ownership all through a single service provider.
Clients utilizing the 7ticks network also have access to Interactive Datas low latency, consolidated global data feed. This delivers data from more than 450 sources worldwide, covering more than 150 exchanges and including multi-asset class instrument coverage and extensive Level 2 data.
Interactive Data has also enhanced Vantage, its data solution for the fixed income markets. Vantage includes TRACE corporate and MSRB municipal bond data, in a graphically designed web portal.
Recent features added to Vantage include:
– Graphic visualization of key transparency data: graphical displays provide views on daily and historical market trades alongside Interactive Datas evaluated price; a Market Depth Indicator that quantifies the number of market data sources and quotes per source; and a comparable bond feature that identifies securities with similar bond characteristics
-User-friendly evaluations report: provides access and download of key evaluations, reference, and assumptive data fields.
-Automated evaluations workflow: generates a sub-portfolio that identifies tolerance breaks via color-coded heat maps, with the ability to filter, sort and download data
