Interactive Data Corporation, a provider of financial market data, analytics and related solutions, has added a comprehensive range of portfolio analysis functionalities to its PrimeTerminal ProfessionalSM financial desktop. The enhancements are designed to allow investment advisors and wealth managers to access and analyse their customer portfolios directly in PrimeTerminal.
The new portfolio functionalities include real-time or delayed options to analyse the current value and weighting of individual items, as well as the profit or loss generated by individual items or the overall portfolio. Portfolios can be created for all relevant currencies, a feature designed to support the workflows of advisors working in the private banking segment or at global banks. Customised solutions, such as sample portfolio reports complete with asset allocation, performance charts, profit and loss calculations and other key figures, are also available. Users can benefit from other advantages offered by PrimeTerminal, including a broad dataset covering major international trading venues and asset classes, as well as an easy-to-use and intuitive interface.
PrimeTerminal offers a variety of options for analysing and managing portfolios designed to allow users to store existing investor portfolios as sample portfolios and test new investment strategies or the potential effects of changes to the portfolio structure. When PrimeTerminal is integrated into a banks systems, users can open, analyse and execute transactions in existing portfolios directly in the terminal.
