Integra SP, a specialist integration service and solutions provider today announced that it has acquired the business and assets including the intellectual property of Altio Ltd. A London-based software company, Altio Ltd developed and marketed AltioLive(tm), an XML platform for building and deploying real-time, interactive Internet applications.
With partnerships and distribution agreements with Sun, Oracle and CGE&Y, Altio Ltd developed a strong customer base, enjoying increasing demand from companies wanting to deploy a dynamic presentation layer that provides desktop application functionality. In line with this, it achieved widespread recognition as one of the most revolutionary Internet technologies in the market. Integra SP remains committed to the Altio product line and plans to develop the product to fully integrate with iaTrade(tm), its own trade lifecycle management solution. The business going forward will continue to trade as a subsidiary of Integra SP and both its existing customer and developer base will continue to receive full product support.

AltioLive enables businesses to feed all their applications into a multi-window, browser-based interface, allowing users to work with multiple internal applications simultaneously.
