As its institutional business continues to expand in the UK market, Insight Investment has appointed Denise Saber as head of European business development.
Saber joins Insight from fixed income specialist Rogge Global Partners, where she has been a partner since 2000. During that time, she established a European sales and marketing function for the firm and developed a wide range of client partnerships across Europe. Prior to this, Saber was head of marketing (EMEA) for Citibank Global Asset Management and before that she held a similar role at Morgan Stanley Asset Management.
Saber will be responsible for spearheading a direct sales programme in the European institutional market place. She will report to Sarah Aitken, head of institutional business at Insight.
“She has a tremendous sales record, and her experience in the pension fund market spans some 20 years,” Aitken said. “As the industry moves away from traditional asset benchmarks to a world focused on disciplined risk management and absolute returns, Denise is very well placed to drive an aggressive programme through key European institutional markets taking advantage of Insight’s proven strengths in fixed income and its role as a key player in liability driven investment,” Aitken said.
