ING Securities Services in Amsterdam says it can now offer derivatives traders the ability to clear and settle French and Belgian equity trades via the Euronext.liffe trading platform.
“It is now possible to trade French shares through the LIFFE CONNECT derivatives platform without a cash membership on the Euronext cash market in the same manner as Dutch shares,” says a spokeswoman for ING in Amsterdam. “After receiving and processing the cash order, ING sends this order to the Nouveau Systme de Cotation (NSC) order book. This functionality, developed at the initiative of ING Securities Services, can be used for trading Belgian shares as well.”
