Dutch financial services group ING is in talks to acquire AGF Belgium Bank, a unit of French insurer AGF and German insurance group Allianz . With the acquisition of AGF Belgium Bank, ING Belgium and its Record Groep arm hope to expand their retail mortgage and unsecured lending business in Belgium. AGF Belgium Bank has around one billion euros in assets and made a net loss of Euros 6.1 million last year.
