Multex.com Inc., a global provider of investment information and technology solutions for the financial services industry, announced that the Company was selected by ING Barings to construct, develop and host a new website that will allow institutional clients real-time access to ING Barings’ proprietary research and commentary by market sector, company or analyst.

Jason Garverich, Senior Vice President, Multex commented, “Outsourcing may be topical in today’s environment, but the fact is few Application Service Providers (ASP) have a credible track record. Our experience of connecting sell-side and buy-side analysts since 1996 through our online research portal MultexNET, shows clients we understand how to manage investment information. We leverage that skill and technology to build customized sites that connect clients to their customers on budget and on time.”

Steve Jarrett, Director, ING Barings added, “The decision to go with Multex was based on their responsiveness and cutting-edge technology. Multex offered us the most effective solution for the secure and integrated distribution of investment research, combined with transparency and control, better enabling us to continue to deliver significant performance for our clients.”

Multex’s technology will enable ING Barings analysts to update the website in real-time. The site will be designed to improve ING Barings’ marketing and cross-selling efforts by tracking its institutional client usage.

Other site features will include:

– Access to real-time research coverage by market, sector, company and analyst, will enable users to navigate intuitively and contextually through companies under coverage, analyst bios and research

– A content management system that will allow ING Barings analysts to publish commentary and breaking news directly to the relevant section of the website without programming knowledge. This technology will also permit webmasters at ING Barings to manage the structure/navigation of the website through a web based administration tool.

– Content entitlement that will allow ING Barings to permission documents, data and functionality to an individual user.
