SwallowTech, a software firm active in the treasury, securities and derivatives markets, says Bank Central Asia, Indonesia (BCA) has purchased their SMART-Resolve exception-management solution for enterprise-wide investigations.
Swallow-Tech says the monitoring and collection of payment charges claimed from third party banks was historically a labour intensive operation but the adoption of SMART-Resolve has automated the tracking; generation of the MTn91 ‘request for charges’ messages and the subsequent reconciliation of received funds, significantly reducing staff effort.
“Operational efficiency is of utmost importance to the way we service our customers, and we believe that the automation of investigations provided by Swallow Tech is of significant importance in increasing our competitive advantage, reducing operational risk and expense,” says Darius Wanardi, General Manager at Bank Central Asia. “It is our continuous effort to increase our service level to our customers.”
