IFDS Appoints David Moffat In New Development Role

IFDS has appointed David Moffat as group executive responsible for business development for the UK market

International Financial Data Services (IFDS), the international transfer agency joint venture between State Street Corporation and DST Systems, Inc., has appointed David Moffat as group executive responsible for business development for the UK market, reporting to Paul Roberts, managing director, IFDS.

Moffat will be charged with leading UK business development in asset management, wealth management and wrap account space.

Prior to joining IFDS, Moffat was a director at Money Portal, where he was responsible for business development and strategic alliances. Moffat has also held senior roles at Fidelity, JP Morgan and The Bank of New York Mellon.

“David brings a wealth of experience in our traditional markets and from the distribution arena. As IFDS expands and our lines of business grow, David’s experience and knowledge will greatly assist us,” says Roberts.

“I am delighted to join IFDS. IFDS is a dynamic organisation that leads the market in provision of investor and distributor services,” adds Moffat.

IFDS provides service and technology applications for investor and distributor servicing.
