The International Capital Market Association gathered a panel of Italian market practitioners, lawyers and representatives of trade associations Wednesday to discuss the complexities of offering securities in Italy.
The panel’s objective, ICMA says, was to assist market participants in unraveling any confusion that may exist in offering Italian securities in the wake of recent law reforms concerning securities offerings in the country.
The panel’s timing was particularly important, the association says, given delays in the full implementation of the Prospectus Directive in Italy.
