IntercontinentalExchange reported Wednesday a record volume of contracts for ICE Futures for the month of June and for the quarter.

The average daily volume for ICE Futures in June was 353,058 contracts, marking the sixth consecutive monthly ADV record and an increase of 104.5% over June 2005.

The average daily commissions in ICE’s over-the-counter segment for June brought in $507,647 jumping 49.6% over June of last year.

The average daily volume for the second quarter of 2006 for ICE Futures rose to 333,668 over the ADV of 156,481 reported in the second quarter of 2005, marking the exchange’s highest volume quarter in its history and an improvement of 113.2%.

Also in the second quarter, average daily commissions for ICE’s OTC segment increased to $526,824, marking an increase of 79.6% over the second quarter of 2005.
