ICAP has raised 9.2 million worldwide, 29% more than last year, which will be donated to a selection of charities around the world, on its 15th annual charity day.
“We are thrilled to have raised 9.2 million in one day yesterday for Charity Day. This is a new record and we couldn’t have done this without the outstanding support of our customers, staff and suppliers. As we have seen over the past 15 years, donating a whole day’s revenue makes a significant difference to hundreds of charities and therefore to the lives of thousands of people,” says Michael Spencer, CEO, ICAP.
As part of the day’s activities, ICAP hosted dozens of the charities’ celebrity spokespeople to rally employee enthusiasm and interact with clients to boost trading volumes.
