Ian Harvey is to head UK Pooled Funds at Mellon Global Investments. In a newly created role, Harvey will focus on sales and client service for institutional pooled funds in the UK marketplace, as well as developing and progressing the Mellon Global Investments pooled fund product offering. Harvey will report to Jon Little, Chief Executive Officer of Mellon Global Investments.
Harvey joins Mellon Global Investments from SG Asset Management where he was Head of Pooled Funds for six years. There he was involved in the early stages of the launch of SG Asset Management, specifically the development of the SG Managed Fund Service, a vehicle to market services to small and medium-sized pension funds.
Prior to joining SG Asset Management, Harvey held positions as Director of Business Development at Invesco Asset Management, (1997 – 1998), and Manager at Fleming Pooled Pensions Limited, (1995 – 1997).
