Jessica Hynes has been promoted to head of global custody consulting for the U.K., Europe and Middle East at Mercer ‘s Investments arm.
Her LinkedIn profile says she will be responsible for business development, sales, strategy and product for Mercer’s Europe Middle East and Africa custody consulting practice. She will also manage institutional client RFPs for custodian procurement.
Hynes was previously a senior associate at Mercer Investment Consulting, specializing in consulting on global custody, managing custody research and custodian RFPs for major institutional investors at Mercer Sentinel. She joined the firm as a senior associate in January 2011. Previously, she was head of relationship management, institutional banking at HSBC Securities Services from June 2003 to December 2008.
Before HSBC, Hynes was head of sales, U.K. Pensions at State Street from April 2002 to May 2003. She joined State Street from J.P. Morgan, where she was vice president, relationship management, U.K. and Offshore Fund Managers from October 1998 to January 2002. Hynes began her career in 1991 as head of sales and relationship management for BBH in Luxembourg.
