Currenex, Inc. announces the integration of its FXtrades service with the automated pricing system of HVB.

This integration by HVB marks the first time that a bank makes its automated pricing mechanism available on Currenex’s FXtrades service using Cognotec’s AutoDeal LITE pricing engine.

“Providing the best level of service to our customers is a priority for us, so we are delighted to now offer access to our 24-hour automated pricing system on FXtrades. To be the first bank to integrate to FXtrades using Cognotec also shows our commitment to drive innovation in this space for the benefit of our customers,” said Robert Millns, Managing Director, Foreign Exchange of HVB.

Currenex, HVB and Cognotec collaborated to deliver seamless integration for buy-side clients. Lori Mirek, President and CEO of Currenex commented on this effort saying, “The strong commitment to teamwork, innovation and excellence that Currenex, HVB and Cognotec all share, made it possible to quickly integrate HVB to the FXtrades service.”

Currenex continues to work with other banks and auto pricing engines so that the more than 50 banks already making prices on its service have the opportunity to offer their automated FX pricing systems via FXtrades.
