The Warsaw Stock Exchange Supervisory Board has admitted HVB AG (Bayerische Hyp-und Vereinsbank AG) to operate on the exchange as a remote member. It is the eighth foreign investment institution to gain access to the WSE trading system, without being physically present in Poland or using local brokers as intermediaries.

To start trading the new member has to ensure the proper operational and technical clearing and settlement capacity which involved as agreement with a local bank acting as a clearing agent at the NDS. So far there are six remote members actually operation on the WSE.
