The Liberty Ermitage Group has appointed Mark Hucker as the Group Executive Director – Infrastructure responsible for all aspects of operations, finance and compliance, reporting to Ron Mitchell, Chief Executive Officer.
He joins from Perpetual where he was Finance Director and Acting Managing Director of Perpetual Fund Management (Jersey) Limited, a company with offshore assets under management exceeding $1bn and enjoying an enviable reputation for service quality and customer support. Following the acquisition of Perpetual by INVESCO in December 2000, Mark successfully oversaw the rationalisation of the Jersey operations and the transfer of funds and functions to Dublin.
Before joining Perpetual in 1998 Mark was a Senior Audit Manager at Deloitte & Touche in Jersey, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the firm in 1995. Between 1985 and 1992 he held a number of corporate finance roles within the Greyhound UK group of companies.
