HSBC’s Institutional Fund Services (IFS) has appointed Dale Grieve as head of Relationship Management, Insurance Companies.
This is a new position reporting directly to Paul Stillabower, head of Business Development, HSBC Securities Services, Europe, and is one of a number of new hires planned in the business development team.
Dale joins HSBC from State Street Bank & Trust, London where he worked for 16 years, most recently as Head of the World-wide Investment Manager and Consultant Services looking after third party fund managers. During his time there he also held positions in fund accounting, portfolio administration and various account management roles including the management of clients in the following sectors: Pension Funds, Insurance Companies, Middle East and Banks.
Paul Stillabower said, “At IFS we’re re-aligning the relationship management (RM) teams to more effectively match the requirements of our growing client base. Essentially this means we’re moving to a model of smaller RM teams focusing on specific client segments. I am delighted to have Dale on board to lead our proposition in respect of our important insurance company client segment. His experience and industry knowledge, as well as strong managerial skills, will bolster our relationship management proposition.”
