HSBC Securities Services has made four new senior appointments to its hedge fund servicing business in Dublin.

The appointments include new roles for Peter Daffy as head of fund administration and Brian Coughlan as head of operations, Global Distribution and Transfer Agency (GDTA) and two new hires; Andrea Brunetti as senior fund manager and Alice McAlinden as fund administration manager.

Tony McDonnell, Head of HSBC Securities Services, Ireland, says: “We have strengthened the team on the back of increased flows from new deals into our hedge fund administration business in Ireland. The addition of new talent from the market in addition to growth for individuals already in our organisation makes for a good blend in our management team structure.”

Peter Daffy moves to his new role from head of custody at HSBC Institutional Trust Services (Ireland). In his new role, he will be responsible for the service provision from accounting and valuations, global pricing and statutory reporting functions to corporate and institutional clients worldwide.

Coughlan moves from his role as deputy head of fund administration, where he was responsible for all aspects of operations for accounting and valuations. In his new role, Coughlan will be responsible for the management of the transfer agency operational teams and the development of the service offering.

Andrea Brunetti has joined from BNY Mellon Alternative Investment Services, where he was a senior team manager in hedge fund accounting.

Prior to joining HSBC, McAlinden was an assistant manager in BNY Mellon’s fund valuations department.
