HSBC Securities Services Europe has appointed John Cargill as its new head of Trustee and Depository Services.
Cargill replaces Graham Thomas, who has overseen the trustee and depository group at HSBC since 1999. Cargill is currently Managing Director of State Street Trustees Limited. A qualified lawyer, he has been with State Street for seven years, and prior to this held a variety of legal and compliance roles with Bank of Scotland, Standard Life and Scottish Widows.
