HSBC Securities Services (HSS) announced the appointments of three senior trustee positions at its London and Edinburgh offices.

Bob Southgate has been appointed Senior Manager, Trustee and Depositary Services – Client Relations. Southgate has previously served in a wide variety of financial sector senior management roles including positions at Lloyds TSB, Rothschild, Insight and L&G.

HSS also announces the appointment of Kirsten Haggarty as Senior Trustee and Depositary Manager in charge of HSBC’s recently opened Edinburgh trustee office. Haggarty has held a number of operational client management positions and has worked in the investment and trustee industry for 16 years, most recently for State Street.

In addition, HSS has also appointed Ros Clark as Senior Trustee and Depositary Technical Manager. Clark joins HSS from the Investment Management Association where she most recently held a role as Technical Adviser in the organisation’s regulations, operations and taxation team.

“We are expanding and restructuring our Trustee and Depositary Services management team to ensure that we match the requirements of our existing and future client base,” said John Cargill, Head of the Trustee and Depositary Services group in HSS. “Our new appointments complement our existing experienced team in both our London and Edinburgh sites and help us better achieve ways to more proactively serve our clients.”
