HSBC has named Tim Wood to head its UK Securities Services, and will take on the role from the end of March, Global Custodian has learnt.
He will take over the role from Rafael Moral Santiago to allow him to focus on his wider responsibilities as head of HSBC Securities Services for Europe, according to an internal memo.
A spokesperson for HSBC confirmed the contents of the memo.
Wood joins the British Bank from RBC I&TS, where he was previously managing director of business development. He also held several senior roles including head of client solutions and head of network management.
