HSBC appoints new global head of investor services product

Former president and CEO of Computershare in Hong Kong takes up new role.

HSBC has appointed CP Yap, previously president and CEO of Computershare in Hong Kong, as global head of investor services product, markets & securities services, with immediate effect.

 

Based in Hong Kong, Yap will report to Sebastien Danloy, global head of investor services at HSBC, and Brian Goddins, regional head of securities services, Asia & MENAT.


“CP brings with him a wealth of experience and deep understanding of our products,” said Danloy. “He will help us continue to build out our post-trade product suite and digital capabilities for asset owners and managers.”

 

Prior to Computershare, CP held various senior roles at Citibank, including head of custody & fund services – Asia-Pacific and head of securities & fund services in both HK and mainland China.
