Horizon Cash Management LLC has hired Brian X. Hurley as senior director of marketing.
Hurley, 53, will be responsible for all marketing and business development initiatives, and will lead the firm’s branding activities. Hurley reports to Diane Mix, president of Horizon Cash Management.
“Horizon has experienced solid growth in recent years and we are now poised to reach the next level for our business,” said Mix. “We are delighted to have Brian on board to employ his expertise to drive our marketing.”

Most recently, Hurley was president and co-owner of Fairman Schmidt & Hurley, a Chicago advertising agency. Prior to Fairman Schmidt & Hurley, Brian was at Euro RSCG Tatham, serving as managing partner and director of client services. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in english from the University of Notre Dame and an MSJ in advertising from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
