Henderson Global Investors is withdrawing from funds-of-hedge funds after disclosing the liquidation of the 110 million Henderson Absolute Return Portfolio (Harp). Shareholders will vote on a liquidation proposal, initially proposed by Carrousel Capital, in October. Harp was launched in April 2001, and suffered from a steep discount to NAV.
