Leading private client adviser Grant Thornton is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicholas Hely-Hutchinson as Chief Executive Officer of Grant Thornton Asset Management Ltd. (GTAM)

Nick joins Grant Thornton’s wholly owned asset management subsidiary from Teather & Greenwood Investment Management, where he acted as Managing Director. Prior to Teather and Greenwood, Nick gained extensive city experience at Mercury Asset Management, Singer and Frielander Investment Management, and UBS (AG) Private Bank, where he was Director in Charge of the High Net Worth team. In addition to his managerial experience, Nick also brings with him 16 years of running investment portfolios for private clients and charities, including private unit trusts and open ended investment companies.

Nick commented, “I am delighted to be joining the Grant Thornton Asset Management team and I look forward to the challenge of building up GTAM and expanding its portfolio of clients. It will give me great pleasure to work alongside a team of the highest professional integrity, and to continue the positive expansion of the group.”
