Gert Raeves, Securities Product Manager at STP software house HelioGraph, has been voted onto the ISITC Europe Executive Committee. Gert and Nigel Solkhon from IBM now have the responsibility of representing the vendor community in Europe.
ISITC-IOA (International Securities Association for Institutional Trade Communication – International Operations Association) is a global working committee of securities operations professionals representing custodian banks, investment managers, brokers, and vendors. The group’s goal is to foster alliances and advocate standards that promote straight through processing (STP) of securities transactions. Raeves’s appointment to the European Committee is being portrayed as part of the group’s undertaking to recognise the valuable contribution that the vendor community makes to ISITC.
