HedgeServ, the independent fund administrator for the alternative investment industry, has opened an office in Chicago.
The new office will provide fund administration for hedge funds, funds of hedge funds and private equity funds.
Jerry Fuesel, managing director, will lead a team of 22 staff. Fuesel has 18 years of industry experience and joins HedgeServ from Amundi Alternative Investments Services. He was most recently a managing director of Amundi AI Services, Inc., the global head of operations of Amundi AI and a director of Amundi AI, Ltd.
“By establishing a presence in Chicago, we are better positioned to service our clients in one of the preeminent global derivatives markets in the world,” says Jim Kelly, co-founder and chairman of HedgeServ. “We now have a very experienced team in this important market.”
The Chicago office is located at One North Wacker Drive. HedgeServ has offices in Dublin, New York, Grand Cayman and Chicago with assets under administration of over $90 billion.
HedgeServ was rated in the most recent Global CustodianSurvey of Hedge Fund Administrators in 2010.
